GUWAHATI, June 22: One of the leading media organizations ‘India Today’ will confer on ‘The Best Emerging State in Agricultural Growth’ Award to Assam. With proper implementation of schemes for the development of agriculture, the state has been able to witness an upward trend in agricultural sector. The award will be presented to State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora by Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh in New Delhi tomorrow. Besides, Bora will take part in a discussion there on ‘Possibility on Independent Farming’, stated a press release.
