Beware of men with sedatives!

GUWAHATI, Feb 20: Beware of frauds travelling by train along with you. They just make train passengers sleep by making them consuming some sedative tablets and rob them of their belongings.

The RPF yesterday arrested two such youths from platform number four in Guwahati Railway Station. Both hailing from gaon district, Bilaluddin and Saiful Islam came to Guwahati by the Silchar Super Special Passenger train yesterday. They, however, could loot anyone in the train they were travelling in. Seventy-three Ativan 2mg tablets and 19 other tablets were recovered from them.

The duo confessed before the police that they came to Guwahati with a view to looting people by making them fall asleep by giving them drugs mixed with sedatives.  

A case (27/17) has been registered against the duo at the GRP station. They were produced before the court that sent them to judicial remand today.
