Bid to boost weavers

GUWAHATI, August 10: The Government at the Centre is contemplating on developing weavers through block-level handloom clusters in dyeing, designing, weaving and magerial training, besides launching of India Handloom Brand (IHB) through the Ministry of Textiles, Pradhan Mantri Weavers Mudra Yojo, linking handloom products with handloom website and the sale of handloom products through handloom expo etc. The second tiol Handloom Day-cum-Handloom Exhibition was observed throughout the tion of August 7. In Guwahati also the day was oberved by the WSC, Guwahati.
