Biennial meet of Brahmon Samaj ends

GUWAHATI, May 28: The eighth biennial and the third biennial conferences of the Asom Brahmaon Samaj and the Guwahati Mahagar Zila Brahmon Samaj respectively concluded today at the GMCH auditorium.

In sync with the programme a cultural procession was taken out from Chatribari to the conference hall of the GMCH in the morning today. The open session was conducted by Guwahati Mahagar Zila Brahmon Samaj’s general secretary Pabitra Kumar Sarma. Aauni Aati Xatra’s Xatradhikar Dr. Pitambor Devogoswami opened the open session that was presided over by Asom Brahmaon Samaj president Sunil Kumar Goswami. A number of students who secured highest marks in Sanskrit in HSLC and HS examitions in the State were felicitate at the programme.
