BJP, AIUDF condemn Pengere incident

GUWAHATI, July 17: The BJP and the AIUDF expressed concern over the recent Pengere incident and condemned those involved in the killing. The two parties, in separate press statements, said that there should not be any clash on commul lines. They also said that such incidents occur due to the State's poor land-and-order situation that deteriorates every other day. They said that the miscreants involved in the incidents should be booked and punished.
