According to the State BJP, the former Chief Minister is resorting to cheap politics at a time when the State has been facing the wrath of devastating floods. "The government at Dispur has been tackling the flood situation in the State quite efficiently. However, Gogoi has resorted to false propaganda. People of the State don't want such a cheap politics from seasoned politicians like Gogoi. It's still fresh in the minds of the people of the State that once Gogoi was abroad when the State was reeling under a devastating flood," the BJP said in a statement.
