BJP expels Dilip Moran

GUWAHATI, Nov 10: The BJP Assam Pradesh today expelled its senior leader and former Doomdooma MLA Dilip Moran for six years for contesting the Lakhimpur Lok Sabha bye-election against party’s official candidate Pradhan Baruah. This order has been issued by the party’s state president Sarbanda Sonowal. Earlier, Moran had quit the party for not getting party ticket for contesting the Lakhimpur Lok Sabha seat. He was the vice president of the party before quitting it.
