BJP hits back at Ripun Bora

GUWAHATI, Sept 1: Reacting to APCC vice president Ripun Bora’s comment that State Government has failed on all fronts in its last 100 days of governce, State BJP today said that Bora’s comments simply reflected the frustration of the Congress.

The Opposition Congress today came down heavily upon the Sarbanda Sonowal government and questioned its achievements in the last 100 days of governce.

Assam PCC president Ripun Bora had pointed out the alleged failures of the BJP-led state government such as increase in VAT, skyrocketing prices of essentials, lack of adequate relief to the flood-hit, deteriorating law and order and poor condition of the tiol highways because of lack of maintence.

State BJP spokesperson Aparajita Bhuyan, while slamming the Congress, said that the party has no moral right to seek progress report from government as the party failed to present details of its activities while it was in power for 15 years.
