BJP's autonomous council members meet

GUWAHATI, Nov 11: BJP members of the four autonomous councils of the State had a conference in Guwahati on Saturday. BJP council members from Sonowal-Kachari Autonomous Council, Tengal-Kachari Autonomous Council, Deori Autonomous Council and Tiwa Autonomous Council took part in the conference. 
Speaking at the conference, State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass requested all council members to work in tandem with the party. He also appealed to them to take the central and state schemes among the people of the State, keeping an eye on the panchayat poll. 
State PWD Minister Parimal Shuklabaidya said: “Road construction works in the State will continue to be on a war footing.”
The meeting held in collaboration with ST Morcha of the party was attended, among others, by Dipu Ranjan Murkery, Kumud Kachari, Madhab Deori, Pawan Mantar, Manoj Baruah, Phanindra th Sarma, Lakhya Konwar, Dilip Saikia and Mriganko Barman.
