BJP's Mazdoor Morcha to help spread schemes and hone skill

GUWAHATI, Sept 9: The Mazdoor Morcha of the BJP Assam Pradesh has decided to popularize the schemes taken up by the Centre and Dispur for the welfare of poor and honing skill of unemployed in the State so as to make them employable.
The State executive committee of the Mazdoor Morcha of the party that began in Guwahati on Friday concluded on Saturday.  
The meeting came out with some important resolutions. One of the resolutions is meant for popularizing the welfare schemes taken up by the Centre and the State Government for the benefit of poor people. The modus operandi they are going to follow is spreading the schemes among the public and to draw strategy so as to make people avail maximum benefits from the schemes. The Morcha has also decided to help the State Government in making its schemes for honing the skill of educated unemployed so as to make them employable as skilled manpower.         
The executive meeting had a detailed discussion so as to bring motor transport workers under social security Act. The meeting requested Dispur on the issue.
State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass, who also attended the meeting, said: “The labourers are still a neglected class in society. The aim of our party is to bring them on a par with others in society through their development. Pandit Deendayal Upadhay, though ‘antodoya’, did try to development the lowest rung in society so as to bring their status on a par with others. This is the avowed goal of the BJP.”
The meeting was presided over by Morcha president Pran Kumar Das. He welcomed the steps taken by the Centre and Dispur to put an end to corruption. “The measures taken up to put an end to corruption are pushing the State towards development,” he said.   
The meeting was held at the State Museum Autorium. On Friday the meeting of the office-bearers of the Morcha was held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan.
Others present at the meeting on Saturday are ministers Parimal Shuklabaidya and ba Kumar Doley, Assam State Minority Development Board chairman Muminul Aowal, Asom Udyogo Vikash Nigam chairman Mission Ranjan Das, state BJP general secretary Mrigangka Barman and others, said Morcha secretary Bhaswati Sarma in a statement issued to the press.
