GUWAHATI, Oct 7: The Bharatiya Jata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Assam Pradesh has started a campaign against Chinese goods that have glutted the market in the State.  Members of the BJYM today requested the shopkeepers of Mohan Market at Fancy Bazar in the city not to sell Chinese products and at the same time made appeals to the consumers not to get lured by the affordability of the Chinese products and sincerely avoid the same. The move came close on the heels of Assam Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal and State Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma openly appealing to the consumers of the State yesterday not to buy any Chinese goods. “India is the largest market of Chinese products. Chinese economy depends a lot on it. As we all are aware of the fact that Chi backs Pakistan, and thus terrorism. Buying Chinese products is like sponsoring terrorism. By avoiding it we can punish Chi economically and put a check on terrorism to a great extent,” leaders of BJYM Assam Pradesh said.  The protest was supported by Councilor Rajkumar Tiwari. He echoed the views of the BJYM and made it loud and clear to all that ban of Chinese products is a must.
