BJYM state executive underway

GUWAHATI, Aug 23: The Assam unit of the BJYM’s executive committee meeting started in Guwahati on Wednesday, and will conclude on Thursday. On the first day of the meeting there were four sessions.

State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass, tiol BJP general secretary Ram Madhab, State PWD Minister Parimal Shuklabaidya, Social Welfare Minister ba Kumar Doley, tiol BJYM secretary Saurav Sikdar, State BJYM president Anup Barman, State BJP general secretary Dilip Saikia and secretary Dipluranjan Sarma were present at the meeting.

Besides passing some economic and political resolutions, the meeting also discussed issues like the youth wing of the BJP taking active part in the forthcoming panchayat polls in the State. The meeting also discussed popularizing P & RD and Social Welfare schemes in rural Assam.

Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal, Industries Minister Chandra Mohan Patoway, Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Irrigation Minister Ranjit Kumar Dutta will remain present in the concluding day of the meeting on Thursday when issues like GST, Central and State Government scheme implementation, organizatiol matters will be discussed.
