Body found in city

GUWAHATI, Oct 12: The body of a person was found at the Fancy Market Ghat today by the local people, which was later identified as that of Ritesh hailing from Bihar by his friend Rickshaw puller Rajesh Kumar of Fancy Market Number 5 Railway Gate. Kumar said: "Ritesh was working in Choudhury Hotel of Fancy Market and left the job before a few days to open his new tea stall for the puja. He stayed at my home after leaving the job, but left my home before six days. I was searching for him in various places, and today the Fancy Bazar police called me at 12 noon when they found his body at the ghat." "The body was sent for the post-mortem to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital," said the police.
