Body of seventh quake victim brought to Assam

Guwahati, May 2: The body of Padmabati Mazumdar, the seveth victim from Assam to have died in the Nepal quake, was brought to Assam this morning. Minister Rakibul Hussain and deputy commissioner were present at the airport to receive the body. The mortal remains were taken to her residence at Hengerabari area. Tributes were paid to the deceased at the Karbi Yuba Sangha before being cremated at the bagraha ground.
