GUWAHATI, Sept 25: An unidentified body of a man was recovered from the Brahmaputra river at Pandu ghat in the city on Sunday morning. On witnessing a body floating in the Brahmaputra river, locals informed the Jalukbari Police Station. A team of police arrived at the spot and retrieved the body from the river. The body, which is yet to be identified, was sent for post mortem to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital.
