Bollywood actor dies in boat mishap

GUWAHATI, Dec 22: In a tragic incident, Bollywood actor Mohsin Khan met a watery grave on the river Jiabharali near Bhalukpung in Sonitpur district in Assam on Monday night.

Khan, who was on a visit to Sonitpur district along with five others for shooting of a documentary for a travel channel along the Assam-Aruchal Pradesh border, was riding on a boat. Suddenly, he was believed to have slipped from the boat and vanished. Notably, three days back, Rituraj Phukan, son of former minister and harkatiya legislator Prati Phukan died in a similar incident in Meghalaya.
