Book publishers distribute stalls by lottery

GUWAHATI, Oct 25: The All Assam Book Sellers and Publishers (AABSP) organized a lottery among book sellers at Guwahati Press Club today to distribute stalls among them. “There will be 80 A-type stalls of 10ft length/10ft breath and 108 B-type stalls of 10ft length/ 20 ft breath and additiol 15 commercial stalls. The lottery will provide preference of setting up of stalls according to luck. Even the executive members of the AABSP took part in the lottery,” AABSP assistant general secretary Probodh Das said. GMC Joint Commissioner Dev Mishra, Assam Prakashak Parishad secretary Promod Kalita and writer Eli Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
