Boycott Rajbongshi: Tai body

GUWAHATI, May 1: The Tai Ahom Yuva Parishad (TAYP) has appealed to all district and regiol committees of the Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) to boycott Paramanda Rajbongshi. The parishad has further said that in the event of Rajbongshi becoming AXX president in the future, it will be compelled to take stands against all the district and regiol committees of the premier literary body in the State.

In a statement issued to the press today, the Parishad said that the AXX president should be elected through district-wise voting.
