Brahma stuns reporters

By our Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, March 20: State Environment and Forest Minister Pramilarani Brahma has stunned newsmen when she said that she has in her mind the issue of ‘separate Bodoland’ that has made them leaders. She, however, has  toned down her statement by adding later that she uttered that as a common citizen. Talking to newsmen in the city today, Brahma said: “The Bodos want a separate Bodoland state. We’re leaders today by taking part in the agitation for a separate Bodoland state. Now the BTC has been formed, and we want development for the Bodos.”
