BSF celebrates Raksha Bandhan with singer Asha Bhosle

GUWAHATI, Aug 18: As the entire tion plunged into happiness and excitement of celebrating the sacred festival of “RakshaBandhan”, a symbol of love and brotherhood, BSF troops of Guwahati Frontier, their families and children were no exception on this special day. A special programme was organized under the aegis of HQ BSF Frontier Guwahati today in which legendary singer Asha Bhosle attended as the chief guest. She tied Rakhi on the hands of BSF personnel who also felicitated her on the occasion. Besides team of ‘Seemanto Chet Manch’, Brahma Kumaris of Guwahati centre and wards of BSF families tied Rakhis to BSF jawans in the function.
