BSS demands longer programmes in DD

GUWAHATI, Jan 4: The Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS) moved the Doordarshan Bhawan, New Delhi with the demand for more Bodo programme at Doordarshan in Guwahati. The BSS said that Doordarhsan in Guwahati should telecast Bodo programmes for at leats an hour, including Bodo songs, dance, dramas and a15-minute news bulletin. Earlier, the BSS had sent a memorandum to Doordharshan Bhawan, New Delhi in this regard on December 9, 2016.
