Case against filmmaker

GUWAHATI, Feb 2: Pan Bazar police has registered a suo-motu case (No-49/17) against Assamese filmmaker Himangshu Prasad Das, who sought  ULFA (I) chief Paresh Barua’s help, when his film, “Shakira Ahibo Bakultolor Bihu Loi”, was taken out of cinemas  last week by distributors to make way for the two Hindi films. The rebel leader had called up media houses to voice his support after Das sought help through an open letter to Barua. (Staff Reporter)
