CCSU-IASST to hold tiol Science Day

GUWAHATI, Feb 17: Cotton College State University (CCSU) and Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) are going to observe the tiol Science Day with two-day programmes from February 28 along with rest of the country at IASST campus at Paschim Bora Gaon at Gorchuk in the city. The tiol Science Day is celebrated in India to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by great Indian CV Raman. The events going to be held in the two days are science exhibitions, science model competitions, science quiz, popular science lectures, science movies, mathematical and statistical puzzles, eBird workshops etc. Students from schools, colleges, research scholars and scientists of research institutes and NGOs can take part in the science fair. The travelling allowance of students will be borne by the organizers. Talking to newsmen today, CCSU VC Dhruba J Saikia and IASST Director NC Talukdar said this.
