GUWAHATI, March 30: A number of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) leaders today said that the Assam Assembly elections were the opportune time for the voters of Assam to teach Prime Minister rendra Modi a lesson.

“You have a choice to make. It’s between democracy and dictatorship. Mr Modi arid the RSS are joint dictators. The Congress is for democracy. We ask Assam voters whether you want vikas or viash. The Congress has a proven track record of 15 long years of ‘vikas and ‘shanti’ in Assam. As you have been doing since 2001, choose for vikas’ over ‘viash,” said Andhra PCC president Dr. N Raghuveera Reddy while addressing a public meeting here today.

“Modi is a deceiver. He promised a package to Bihar before that slate’s elections. We from the Andhra Congress campaigned there. It’s a tragedy that cheating and duplicity is the culture the BJP,” Reddy said.

Dr. K.V.P Ramachandra Rao said: “It has been proved that the tion would be safer, happier and peaceful without Modi. Please save the tion by defeating Modi. We are enduring his cheating, and we don’t want you to suffer like us.”

APCC general secretary O Rudra Raju said: ‘It’s for the youth to speak up. Modi has removed the two biggest facilities that give you employment. They are North East Industrial Development Promotion Policy and Special Status.”
