City to have wholesale veggie market

GUWAHATI, Jan 12: The state capital will soon have a state-of-the-art wholesale vegetable market at Patrapada. The new market will have all modern facilities. Government has hired a private agency-Pragpal-to develop the market.  Pragpal, a start-up venture initiated by a group of men, has been working with Kamrup (M) administration to develop the retail/wholesale market. Hemanta Mazumdar, Director (Operations), Pragpal, said that it would be venture on PPP mode.
