CM on paddy MSP

GUWAHATI, June 26: Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has asked the deputy commissioners of the State over telephone to see if the farmers in their respective districts sell paddy at rates lower than the minimum support price (MSP) as fixed by the government. He also asked the DCs of districts where farmers have to sell their produce at rates lower than MSP to ensure that people lodge their complaints directly with the DCs and district agriculture officers.
