CM, others greet on Kati Bihu

GUWAHATI, Oct 16: Chief Mnister Sarbanda Sonowal today extended greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Kati Bihu.

In a statement, the Chief Minister said that the Kati Bihu festival would light up the lives of the people of the state and strengthen the ties of brotherhood and fraternity among the masses, cutting across the lines of caste, creed, religion or language. Through observance of this agrarian festival, Chief Minister hoped that the people would be blessed with good produce this year and the festival would cement the integrity, brotherhood and camaraderie among all the people of the Brahmaputra and Barak valleys of the State.

Former chief ministers Tarun Gogoi and Prafulla Kumar Mahanta, AGP president Atul Bora, State BJP’s in-charge president Santanu Bharali, AIUDF president Badruddin Ajmal, and others also greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Kati Bihu.
