CM's aid for Drupad Borgohain

Guwahati, Aug 24: Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal today announced Rs. 2 lakh for the treatment of the veteran communist leader Drupad Borgohian who has been ailing for quite some time, said a press release. Borgohain, a Communist Party of India leader was a Rajya Sabha and Bidhan Sabha member. Following his illness, Chief Minister Sonowal besides announcing Rs. 2 lakh for the veteran leader’s treatment asked Deputy Commissioner Sivasagar rayan Konwar to do the needful for facilitating his better treatment.
