Cotton eco-club for eco-friendly Holi

GUWAHATI, March 21: Cotton College Eco Club, in association with ASTEC and ENVIS, organized a workshop on safe and eco-friendly Holi on March 18 in the conference hall of the college.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Cotton College Dr. Nirada Devi urged all to shun all artificial Holi colours and make an effort to prepare colours from different tural sources. She also showed the possibility of using such colours both for persol and commercial purposes. The workshop began with a welcome speech by Dr. Upala Baruah, convener Eco-Club highlighting the role of Cotton College and Cottonians in the pursuit and spread of knowledge in this part of the country.
