Cottonians' way of Children's Day

GUWAHATI, Nov 10: A 12-member team of Cotton College led by Kabyaneel Talukdar has been erecting a statue of Chacha Neheru at the 18th Northeast Book Fair since yesterday.

As many as 2,990 cubes are being used in the statue for which only the board has been supplied by the book fair organizing committee, while the students had to bear Rs 30,000 for the cubes. The mouthpiece of the book fair, Grantham, was released by former AXX president Dr. Lakshindan Bora. He said that nowadays only books can save the man from loneliness.

Meanwhile, Pankaj Pathak’s ‘Banoushadhi aru Prakritic Chikitshare Rog Niramoi’, two editions of which were sold even before its release, was released by former AXX president Kaksen Deka.
