CRPF arrests man with pistol

GUWAHATI, January 4: Acting on a tip–off, the CRPF led by deputy commandant RK Dhariwal picked up one Putul Das (45) from the 9 Mile area and seized a pistol, a magazine and five rounds of ammunition from his possession on Saturday–Sunday night. The man was handed over to Khapara police for interrogation.
