CRPF ASI commits suicide

GUWAHATI, Sept 3: The recovery of a body inside the CRPF camp at 9th Mile area of Guwahati created sensation in the area on Thursday. The body has been identified as that of Mathura Chandra Patowary (48), an Assistant Sub-Inspector of CRPF, presently posted in Kokrajhar. It has been learnt that on August 29, Patowary came to visit his family, which was living at the CRPF camp in 9th Mile, on a six-day leave. However, on September 1 he had a heated argument and left his home. He was missing since then and his body was recovered today morning, hanging from a tree in the backyard of the camp.
