CRPF civic programme

GUWAHATI, Nov 8: The 175th Battalion of the CRPF stationed at Rani in Kamrup district organized a civic action programme at Loharghat today. Battalion Commandant Mahesh Kumar iugurated the function. The Battalion distributed sports items, water filters and solar lamps to eight schools, six clubs and the needy villagers of Loharghat. A free medical camp was also organized at Loharghat. Dr. Snigdha Chetia, CMO, 175 Bn, CRPF along with paramedical staff and Dr. Sailen Das (Pediatrician) of Composite Hospital, GC CRPF, Guwahati provided free health services and medicines to the villagers. SS Somawanshi, Deputy Commandant, and personnel of 175 Bn, CRPF also participated with full vigour.
