CS, DGP, PCCF dotes one-week’s salary to CM’s Relief

GUWAHATI, August 3: Assam Chief Secretary VK Pipersenia contributed one week's salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the flood-affected people of the State. The Chief Secretary formally handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal at his office chamber at Assam Secretariat here today. Director General of Police, Mukesh Sahay and Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, Darash Mathur also contributed one-week’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. They formally handed over the cheques to the Chief Minister. MLA Sanjay Kishan also doted one-month’s salary to the relief fund. The Chief Minister thanked them for their generous contribution to the relief fund for the flood-hit people.
