Cultural coordition can lead to harmony'

AZARA, March 26: Amal Rabha, president of the Samannito Jajati Unyan Samiti, Asom has said that Assam is rich in its culture, and it is only through cultural coordition Assam can be made a stronger. 
Speaking at the open session of a tiol cultural congregation in the conference hall of Sajjanpara Upardani Taluk near here today, Rabha said: “There’s enough scope for strengthening fraternity and harmony in the State by striving for cultural development of all ethnic communities of the State. I appeal to the new generation to come forward to make the proper use of the rich culture of the State.”
The meet was presided over by Arun Boro. Iugurating the open session of the cultural congregation, Gauhati University’s Folklore Department professor Anil Bora said: “We need to preserve the traditiol attires and objects being used by the ethnic people of the State.”
Haghora dance, Zumur dance, Baghrumba dance, Bogejori dance, ga dance etc., were performed at the cultural meet.
