Customers facing problems due to increase in ISO certified establishments

GUWAHATI, March 28: The Consumer Legal Protection Forum today organized a semir on the topic ‘Quality in Product and Services’ at Hotel Fame City here. Addressing the semir, Anil Jauhri, CEO of tiol Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (BCB) said, “It has been very easy to get ISO certificate now a days. Due to increasing number of ISO certified commercial institutes, customers are facing lost of problems. Many establishments are betraying the customers in the me of providing quality services. Even a pan shop can now get ISO certificate.” He said that Government has no record about the institutes who provides ISO certificates.
