Cycle for Life: A cancer awareness drive

GUWAHATI, April 20: Three cyclists – a cured of cancer patient Marcell Sangma from the Northeast, Vaibhav P Desai from Mumbai and Jitin Pabithran from Pune – are going to paddle bicycle from Guwahati to Bum La Pass along the Sino-Indian border in Aruchal Pradesh with a mission – Cycle for Life – to bring about awareness on cancer from tomorrow morning. On their way to the Chi border, they will hold cancer awareness programes in the schools and hospitals located in the route. The trio informed the media of this in a press conference here today.
