D Litt degrees to Bhagawati, Dutta

GUWAHATI, Sept 5: Assam Downtown University on Monday conducted its 4th convocation on its Panikhaiti premises where 71 students were conferred postgraduate degrees on various professiol courses. In addition, around 202 students were also conferred on degrees on professiol courses offered by the university. The university also conferred D. Litt degree (honourary) on veteran jourlist Radhika Mohan Bhagawati and litterateur Birendra th Dutta, recognizing their contribution towards jourlism and literature respectively.
