Darrang doctor suspended based on Sentinel report

GUWAHATI, Sept 20: The Darrang district administration has suspended Dr. Rumki Paul as a fault has been detected against her as reported by The Sentinel on May 28, 2015 under the headline ‘Doctor declares live foetus dead’.  Following the report published by The Sentinel, an inquiry was conducted by the Darrang Deputy Commissioner and Joint Director of Health, Darrang who submitted their report. The action against the doctor was taken as per the inquiry report.
