DC issues show-cause to five for negligence of NRC duty

GUWAHATI, Dec 13: Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner and District Registrar of Citizen Registration M Angamuthu issued show-cause notice to five officials of NRC on duty in NRC Sewa Kendras (NSKs) of Dispur Circle Registrar of Citizen Registration (CRCR) at different position.  According to a press release, these officials were found absent from duty without any information to the authority concerned. They have been asked to show cause as to why discipliry action should not be taken against them. They have to reply in writing and should reach the Deputy Commissioner’s office within two days from the date of receipt of this notice.  The five officials are Ahmed Monowar Hussain, Field Assistant, NSK 3, Dispur CRCR; Mintu Das, UDA, FLO, NSK 5, Dispur CRCR; Bipul Khakhlary, junior assistant, ALO, NSK 10, Dispur CRCR; Amal Kumar Bhuyan, AT, VT Member, NSK 11, Dispur CRCR; and Jayanta Deka, LDA, FLO, NSK 25, Dispur CRCR.
