DC reviews NRC update work

GUWAHATI, April 12: Kamrup(M) Deputy Commissioner M Angamuthu took stock on the ongoing NRC update work at a meeting at Circuit House here today. The Deputy Commissioner specially reviewed on office verification and FAB-1 process of NRC update.

In Kamrup (M) district, the office verification of 96 per cent of the 2,66,224applications received has been completed.

In Kamrup (M) district there are a total 78 NRC Sewa Kendras (NSKs). Out of which the performance of 15 NSKs of FAB- 1 is below 70 per cent. In Azara, Chandrapur and Sopur Revenue Circle in FAB-1 progress is 100 per cent. But in Dispur Revenue Circle and Guwahati Revenue Circle progress in this regard is 80 per cent and 72 per cent respectively. So, Angamuthu asked the respective circle officers and LRCRs to expedite the task and complete the work within April 20.

The DC also asked Additiol Deputy Commissioner and NRC in-charge of the district Kshitish Ch. Pegu to coordite and provide necessary assistance to the concerned circle officers.

It is worth mentioning that FAB-1 software is basically for preparation of Fil ARN Baseline.

It was also discussed to make the office verification process speedier regarding the case pending in the Inspector of Schools and Joint Director of Health Offices.

The DC has asked all the related officers to complete the process within the stipulated time.  

ADC Gujit Kashyap, vadeep Pathak, Inspector of Schools KU Ahmed, Joint Director of Health Services Dr. G. Saikia, circle officers of Azara, Sopur, Chandrapur and Dispur were present at the review meeting.
