Deathtraps on road to Pabitora!

From our Correspondent

DIMORIA, Oct 11: The neglect to the upkeep of its roads by the State PWD may cost travelers an arm and a leg on the PWD roads in the Dimoria area that lead one to Pabitora, a wildlife sanctuary which attracts huge crowds of tourists, both domestic and foreign.

The road that connects Samata on tiol Highway 37 at Sopur to Pabitora via Hahara and Kolongpar has been dappled with big craters that have been left without repair for years. Such craters lead to accidents very often on the road. As though to make the situation worse, a culvert at Halushal on the road caved in, creating a veritable ditch. According to local people, the ditch on the road has been left without repair for a year by the State PWD. This is one of the deathtraps on the road that are infamous for accidents. “Had the PWD looked after the roads regularly, the flow of tourists to Pabitora would have trebled,” the people of the locality feel.
