Diesel-laden truck turns turtle

DIMORIA, Dec 2: A diesel-laden oil tanker (AS09-C-9937) turned turtle near Sopur College Gate on NH-37 at 40.30 this morning. As much as 1,200 litres of diesel spilled over the road. According to eyewitness accounts, the accident occurred when the driver was trying to save an auto van. Soon Sopur police and fire service personnel rushed to the spot. There was no injury. There was a massive traffic jam after the accident. The police, however, brought the situation under control.
