Digital India training underway

GUWAHATI, Feb 20: Under the Digital India Mission an induction training programme for the newly recruited cutting-edge-level government functiories in Group B (non-gazetted) and Group C categories of Kamrup Metro district was held today at Kaklal Baruah Auditorium on the State Museum premises, Guwahati. The training will conclude on March 3 this year.

Kamrup (Metro) Deputy Commissioner M Angamuthu was the chief guest in the training programme. Angamuthu opined for the practical and fruitful training for the employee of various departments.

Earlier in the day, Anjan Chakraborty, Director of Assam Administrate Staff College, Guwahati formally iugurated the training programme. In his iugural speech Chakraborty asked the trainees to serve the state as well as the people with a positive attitude.

As programme coorditor, retired IAS officer Dr. UC Bora told the trainees to work in their respective offices with commitment.

As a resource person, retired ACS officer A nda Babu Singh said that the trainees should work as public servants with honesty and positive attitude.

Kamrup(M) ADC Gujit Kashyap delivered the vote of thanks.     Khitis Pegu, ADC Kamrup (M) and Ritupar Chakraborty, Joint Director Assam Administrative Staff College were also present in the iugural session of the training programme.

Later Deba Prasad Mishra, Director of Cultural Affairs, UC Bora, and A nda Babu Singh participated as trainers in the programme that was organized jointly by the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India and Assam Administrative Staff College. As many as 50 officials are participating in the training.
