Dimoria jourlists' body reconstituted

DIMORIA, August 21: The Dimoria Sangbadik Santha (DSS) formed its new committee for the coming two-year term with Ajit Das as the president and Pankaj Deka as the secretary at a conference held today at the PWD Inspection Bungalow at Sopur.

The conference began with the hoisting of the flag in the morning, followed by the open session presided over by DSS adviser Dr. Dharmaram Deka. Noted jourlist Manoram Gogoi spoke on honesty on the part of jourlists while reporting news. He said that a jourlist has to see the  reliability of sources and information received while presenting news.   

The meeting was attended, among others, by collector of folk culture Murulidhar Das, Brighu Pathak and conscious citizens.
