Disclose whereabouts of mita: APW tells minister

GUWAHATI, January 13: APW president Abhijit Sarma has asked State Agriculture Minister Nilomonisen Deka to disclose the whereabouts of mita Barman so that the case registered regarding her missing could be closed. There are reports that mita Barman had met Deka on January 1, 2004 on job–related works at Belsor and she has since been missing. A case was also registered in that connection. The minister later said that the girl wedded a Muslim youth and was living in Guwahati. Talking to newsmen today, APW leader said: “If Deka knows the whereabouts of the girl, what prevented him from disclosing it so as to let the case registered on her missing closed.”
