Discussion on workplace ergonomics held

GUWAHATI, July 6: Assam down town University in collaboration with State Bank Learning Centre, Dispur   today presented a session on the topic Work Place Ergonomics under the initiative of Dr Abhijit Dutta (PT), Associate Prof, Dept. of Physiotherapy of the university, a press release said. The session was presented by Dr.Abhijit Dutta and assisted by Dr. A. Kalita, assistant professor of Physiotherapy department of the university. The session emphasized on the importance of Office Ergonomics and the common musculoskeletal problems like neck pain, shoulder pain, eye strain, wrist pain, back pain, knee pain etc which occurs from faulty ergonomics from repetitive stress injuries.  There were around 70 participants from all over India and P Kar Prukayastha , AGM ( Assistant General Mager ) iugurated the programme.
