Dispur forms panel for Bhupenda's photo & archive

GUWAHATI, August 4: The State Government has constituted a Governing Body for Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Photo & Archive under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Sarbanda Sanuwal. The Committee has consisted with Commissioner & Secretary, IPRD as Member Secretary, the Commissioners & Secretaries of Fince, Planning & Development, Revenue Cultural Affairs and PWD (Building), Directors of I&PRD, State Archive and State Museum, Assam and eminent actors Biju Phukan, Taufik Rahman, Pranjal Saikia and Cheta Das, Hrishikesh Goswami, Secretary, Asom Sishu Sahitya Nyas, Manju Borah, Award winning film Director, Utpal Baruah, photo jourlist, Jitul Sonuwal, popular singer, Bobeeta Sharma and Pabitra Margherita, cultural persolity are the members of the Governing Body. The Governing Body will direct and supervise matters regarding implementation of the work of establishing and running the institute. The Governing Body will meet at least twice in a year.
