Dispur Shuffles Top Bureaucrats - 4 June, 2017

GUWAHATI, June 3: The Assam Government shuffled its IAS officers and some ACS in a major way today.

Additiol Chief Secretary, WPT & BC, Power (E), Soil

Conservation Departments and Chairman, SL(IWMP) Rajiv Kumar Bora was relieved from the charge of Additiol Chief Secretary, Government of Assam, Power (E) Department. He has been posted as Additiol Chief Secretary, Government of Assam, Social Welfare Department, in addition to his substantive post.

Additiol Chief Secretary, Government of Assam, Industries & Commerce, Mines & Minerals, Social Welfare Department, Public Enterprises Departments and Chairman, APDCL, APGCL, AEGCL Ravi Capoor has been relieved from the charge of Additiol Chief Secretary, Government of Assam, Social Welfare Department. He has been posted as Additiol Chief Secretary, Government of Assam, Power (E) and Act East Policy Affairs Departments, in addition to his substantive post.

Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development, Assam Dr. J. B. Ekka has also been posed as Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, in addition to his substantive post.

Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner Moloy Bora has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government of Assam, Industries & Commerce and Act East Policy Affairs Departments.

Tinsukia Deputy Commissioner Ranjan Kumar Chakraborty has been transferred and posted as the Secretary to the Government of Assam, General Administration and Secretariat Administration Departments.

South Salmara Mankachar Deputy Commissioner Dr. Karu Kumari has been transferred and posted as the Additiol Secretary to the Government of Assam, Panchayat & Rural Development Department.

Dibrugarh District Development Commissioner Oim Sarankumar Singh has been transferred and posted as Tinsukia Deputy Commissioner, vice Ranjan Kumar Chakraborty transferred.

Additiol Secretary to the Government of Assam, Urban Development Department Atika Sulta has been transferred and posted as South Salmara Mankachar Deputy Commissioner vice Dr. Karu Kumari, lAS transferred.

Additiol Secretary to the Government of Assam, Guwahati Development and Urban Development Departments Krish Govinda Bhuyan is transferred and posted as Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner, vice Moloy Bora, lAS transferred.

Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Guwahati Development Department and Additiol Commissioner, Guwahati Municipal Corporation zreen Ahmed has been transferred and posted as Director of Municipal Administration, Assam with additiol charge of Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban).

Director of Municipal Administration, Assam Mridul Kumar Mahanta has transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Fince Department.
