Dispur to bear treatment of Xatradhikar

GUWAHATI, Jan 31: The Assam Government will bear the expenditure for the treatment of Madhupur Xatra’s Xatradhikar Lakshmi Kanta Mahanta. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said this in a statement issued to the press today. Gogoi also asked the Dhubri district administration to inquire into the condition of health of the Xatradhikar. Meanwhile, the Axom Xatra Mohaxabha (AXM) thanked the Chief Minister for this gesture.
